Abyssinia License Plates

Abyssinia was a colony of Italy between 1936 and 1941 (AOI = Africa Oriental Italiano).
It became part of what is now Ethiopia upon the country's independence in 1941.
Eritrea gained independence from Ethiopia in 1993.
