Mount Athos is a Greek Orthodox monk community located on a mountainous peninsula in Northeastern Greece.
Only males are permitted - that excludes females of any animal species as well.
Only a few vehicles exist. The separator on Mt. Athos license plates is a Byzantine eagle.
