Description
The European Police Office (Europol) was established in 1999.
It is funded by European member states and based in The Hague, Netherlands. Its
mission is to improve the effectiveness and co-operation of the competent
authorities in the member states in preventing and combating terrorism, unlawful
drug trafficking and other serious forms of international organized crime.
